Entertainment

Des Clarke

Des Clarke is one of the UK’s most exciting performers. He has made a name for himself as both a highly successful comedian and one of television and radio’s star presenters. That forms part of an impressive TV career with presenting credits including Breaking The News, Des Doesn’t Do, Hogmanay Live and much more. Des is a much-loved voice on the airwaves too and can be heard getting central Scotland started every day as host of the Heart breakfast Show. He also fronts hit comedy series Breaking The News on BBC Radio Scotland.

Ray Bradshaw

Ray Bradshaw is an international, multi award-winning stand-up comedian who has sold out shows globally. Ray was handpicked to support John Bishop on his recent UK arena tour and has previously supported Frankie Boyle on his last two tours. His last show Doppelginger was a massive success and earned Ray the opportunity to appear hear tonight. Ray is also a regular host of the hit Radio Scotland show Off the Ball and has numerous tv and radio appearances under his belt.

Jay Lafferty

Jay’s friendly and relaxed persona allows her to get a way with the darker jokes that punctuate her material. Her comedy has been described as chocolate covered hand grenades. Don’t be mistaken Jay’s personality can melt butter – sometimes by using a flamethrower. Clever material delivered with effortless charm and packing a bite every bit as bad as its bark.

An experienced writer and performer Jay has worked on a number of hit BBC Scotland and BBC Four radio shows and one of the longest running panelist on Radio Scotland’s Breaking The News. Jay also secured a small part on Season 2 of The Comedy Unit’s hit BBC1 show Scot Squad.
