Every day we're honoured to see YOU, our community, hiking, baking, skydiving and so much more - all to raise funds for construction families in need.
Our services are vital to supporting those in the construction industry, and we receive no government funding. Without generous individuals like you stepping up for their community time and time again, we simply couldn’t do what we do.
Once you set your mind to it, it’s amazing what you can achieve. Hundreds of people have reached and even exceeded their fundraising targets, and felt the wellbeing benefits of a good deed while they were at it.

How to Get Involved
It’s simple, just follow the three easy steps below. Read on for advice on ways to collect your donations, and how we can support your moment in the media spotlight.
We love hearing your progress, whether you’re an individual or a company, and if it’s your first fundraiser or your 100th!
1. Let us know your plan
Sign up and fill in a form to let us know a few details about you and your fundraising idea.
2. Shout about it!
Keep us updated on your progress (training or event highlights) and make sure to tag us on your socials.
3. Share your success
After your event, send us your photos, videos, and a short summary. We love hearing about how it went!
Collecting Donations
Once you’ve planned your fundraising event, you’ll need to think about a way of collecting your donations! There are plenty of ways to do this, either through one of our online fundraising platforms, or by collecting donations personally and sending the final amount safely to our bank account.
Online Fundraising
For the simplest and most secure method of fundraising, visit our Lighthouse Just Giving pages. Make sure you ask your sponsors to tick the Gift Aid box – it won’t cost them any extra!
Looking for a QR code to share your fundraising page? JustGiving provides them as as part of the campaign.
Bank Transfer
Collect donations and transfer to the relevant bank account (either Euros or Pounds Sterling)
Top Tip
Ask your boss about ‘matched giving’ – many employers will match £1 for £1 for staff taking part in charity fundraising. You won’t know unless you ask!

This is your moment of fame! Why not contact your local press to see if they’ll cover your story, making sure you get as much publicity as possible. Not only will this get the donations pouring in, but you might just get to bask in the glory of all your hard work, too!
