The Lighthouse Charity Scotland West Region held their annual race night on Friday 15th May at Hamilton Park. This year saw a bumper crowd of 265 guests all supporting the Lighthouse Charity. 25 companies booked tables at the event which marks the start of a series of amazing events in the region.
The racegoers were welcomed to the luxury of the Club Lawn Marquee by Martin Allan, representing the Lighthouse Scotland West Region and then by Ashley Moon, Managing Director of Hamilton Park Racecourse.
Guests enjoyed a tremendous three course meal before the excitement of the races and there was much talk of which horses would make the mark. Located on the finishing straight at Hamilton Park, the Marquee offered guests a prime position to cheer on the horses in the seven competitive races.
The weather on the night was mixed but thankfully remained dry for everyone and this helped buoy spirits, A raffle on the night raised over £3000 and contributed to an amazing £10.500 being raised overall.
