Other Points
Depositing Money
- Follow Fundraising Regulations
– These are readily available on www.gov.uk - Money raised needs to be deposited in a timely manner
- All cash you collect is banked by your charity as soon as possible without deducting expenses – Fundraising legally and responsibly – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Charity Values
You must ensure that you are demonstrating the values of the charity at all times – Support, Passion and Integrity.
This also applies to entertainment. All comedians, musical acts etc, need to be vetted and appropriate.
Marketing/Social Media
- Ensure you are using the current up-to-date logo and brand guidelines (Download from here).
- Refer to the main charity as the Lighthouse Charity, not Lighthouse Club. Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity can be used when referring to our legally registered name/organisation/on official documents.
- Do not use your own social media pages/channels. To ensure consistency and avoid confusion, please use the above form to request social media posts on our main pages rather than using your own regional pages.
