Last month, an intrepid team of ten colleagues from Soudal UK took part in the Wolf Run Summer Challenge at Stanford Hall estate in Leicestershire raising over £800 for the Lighthouse Charity.
The course is set across wild springs, dense woodland, lakes and streams which make the course as beautiful as it is challenging.The Wolf Run’s uniqueness is that it uses the land and nature itself to create over 30 obstacles, including a 100m water slide built with a natural hillside, nets strung through ancient woodland and fallen trees turned into barriers to name but a few.
Completing the 10k challenge were:
- Charlotte Marsden, Dom Acker, Jonathan Tanser, Rohan Rana, Tess Siggins and Thomas Ridgway
And completing the 5k challenge were;
- Lauren De Meester, Adam Machin, Keith Ngan and Nathan Evans

Sharon Cade, Trade Marketing Executive and lead for charity and community activities for Soudal UK, said, “We wanted to do something really challenging and it didn’t take long for the idea of the Wolf Run to come to the forefront. We’re so proud to have raised over £800 for the Lighthouse Charity and as well as fundraising for this amazing cause we have also been spreading the message of support with our teams and supply chain, sharing a series of social posts to promote the wonderful work that they deliver. ”
The challenge was intense but knowing that every muddy step was helping to support the construction community motivated the team over the finishing line, exhausted but exhilarated!”
