The Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors (FTMRC) and the Lead Contractors Association (LCA) recently teamed up to host a fantastic charity golf day and clay shoot in the Midlands, bringing together over 70 participants for a memorable day of friendly competition, networking, and charitable giving.
The event was a perfect blend of leisure and purpose. “We wanted to give back to an organisation that provides invaluable support to our industry,” said the organisers. “The Lighthouse Charity was a perfect fit, and we’re proud to support their work.”
Attendees enjoyed a full day of activities, from testing their aim at the clay shoot to teeing off on the golf course. The players’ bar provided a welcome spot to cool off, followed by a lovely dinner and a lively prize-giving ceremony that celebrated the day’s achievements and camaraderie. The night’s raffle raised a substantial £1190 for Lighthouse, topping off a successful day.
The atmosphere throughout was vibrant and welcoming, with members and associates from both organisations connecting over shared values and a good cause.
“It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves while supporting such a worthwhile cause. We’re already looking forward to the next one,” the organisers added.
A big thank you to both the FTMRC and the LCA for their ongoing commitment to supporting our industry.
