Construction workers from London and Scotland came together in strong numbers as Multiplex once again hosted its annual Walk for Wellbeing in support of the Lighthouse Charity.
Coinciding walks took place in London and Glasgow, bringing together hundreds of Multiplex staff, other construction workers and their supply chains. Colleagues from the Lighthouse Charity also joined the walks, helping to highlight the vital support services available to construction workers and their families, raising over £38,000 in the process.
In London, participants completed a significant cross-city route, travelling between key project locations. The day reflected the typical reality of a British spring, with teams experiencing a mix of sunshine, rain and everything in between, but spirits remained high throughout.
Across both cities, there was a mixture of shared purpose and community. The walks not only provided an opportunity to step away from day-to-day roles, but also created space for meaningful conversations, new connections and a collective focus on wellbeing.
Together, participants raised thousands of pounds in support of the Lighthouse Charity’s work, funding its free and confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing services for the construction community.
The continued success of the event is a testament to the dedication of Multiplex and its partners, and the growing momentum behind improving wellbeing across the industry.
