A birdie has told us about our Western Region’s hugely successful golf day for colleagues, clients and industry partners at Oake Manor Golf Club in Taunton, hosted by Sphere Solutions.
The sun’s appearance went a fairway to ensuring that the day was a success. The real ace though, was the good company and some healthy competition.
Not to be putt off, the event provided a great opportunity for people from across the industry to catch up, enjoy a round of golf and raise money for a vital cause.
A great day on the course
Trying to avoid a rough day, teams battled it out for the top spot before bunkering off for some fundraising and had a few memorable shots along the way, for both the right and wrong reasons.
Raising money for construction families
The event wasn’t just about golf or bad puns. Thanks to the support of everyone who played, sponsored, donated, or volunteered, a fantastic £2,300 was raised for our construction community.
Thank you to everyone involved
A huge thank you goes to everyone who contributed to making the day a success, from the players and sponsors to the volunteers who helped everything run smoothly.
Special thanks also to Oake Manor Golf Club for hosting the event and to all the businesses and individuals who supported the day through sponsorship, prizes and donations.
Looking ahead
Planning has been green-lit for next year’s event, and the Western Branch committee has planted a flag to welcome even more teams back to the course in 2027.
