DRS Bond Management were delighted to share a wonderful day and evening with their sponsors and friends at their charity Lighthouse Day which was held on Grand National Day on 14 April.
Taking over the whole of the upstairs of the sumptuous Arts Club in Mayfair, the day raised a staggering £6,000 for The Lighthouse Club. The top prize of the auction was dinner for two at the most intimate private dining suite in London at Mosimann’s Club. Loyd Grossman was famously quoted as saying “The history of food in Britain divides neatly into two periods – before Mosimann and after Mosimann”, which gives some indication to the treat the winners have in store.
Many guests generously donated their race winnings on the day and were thoroughly entertained by compere, broadcaster and columnist, Julia Hartley Brewer. Guests were also enthralled by the anecdotes and insights of champion jockey, coach and commentator, David Crosse, and renowned racing pundit Ryan Tongue.

Last year we received 1500 calls to our Construction Industry Helpline 400 of these calls were for from families who needed emergency financial aid and we were able to deliver £735,000 of financial support to help these families who have nowhere else to turn to. 1100 of the calls were from people seeking advice on support on a range of issues from mental health and wellbeing through to debt management and taxation advice. We can only continue to provide these services with the vital support of companies like DRS Bond Management, who help us to make a difference to our construction families in need.”.
