Staff, apprentices and students from South Hampshire College Group put their strength and stamina to the test recently as they took on an epic 270km rowing challenge, all in support of our charity.
Kicking off bright and early at 8.30am, the team rowed tirelessly throughout the day, finally reaching their goal just before 3pm. With the sun beating down, it was no easy feat, but they stuck together, pushed through, and completed the distance with determination and team spirit.
Special thanks go to Wade and the team from Aeropark, Pete and the team from Cappagh, and Phoebe from Blanchard Wells, whose support was instrumental in helping the rowers get through the final stretch. And a huge shout out to Tesco in Fareham for donating over 80 bottles of water to keep everyone hydrated, every drop was gratefully received!
Together, the team has raised an incredible £1,501 so far, smashing their original target. Well done to everyone involved, a brilliant achievement for a brilliant cause!
